Financial Aid (all families)
We are aware that there are people who cannot afford to attend Incarnate Word Academy without some form of financial assistance. The President, Board of Trustees and Chief Financial Officer are committed to making an Incarnate Word Academy education available to as many families as possible. Currently, 42% of our families receive need-based financial assistance, with awards ranging from $1,000 - $3,500 per year. In addition to financial aid awards, Incarnate Word Academy also offers many merit-based scholarships (see scholarship information on preceding pages). Need-based financial aid awards are additional to any scholarship(s) your daughter may receive.
In order to determine a family’s financial need, Incarnate Word Academy partners with FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment - an independent, third-party company. The FACTS online application is designed to give you the opportunity detail your family’s income, expenses and other relevant information that may have an impact on your ability to afford an IWA education. Based on the information you provide in your FACTS online application, Incarnate Word Academy can make informed decisions about need-based aid.
Financial aid awards include a ‘work study’ component. This student worker program allows students to work in exchange for part of their tuition in the summer or throughout the school year. If you wish for your daughter to be considered for Incarnate Word Academy financial aid, please complete the FACTS online application during Cycle I of the financial aid timeline (see below).
