Dr. Randy Mikolas appointed President of Incarnate Word Academy through 2021
It is with great pleasure that the IWA Board of Trustees announces that the Ministry Council of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word has appointed Dr. Randy Mikolas to the position of President of Incarnate Word Academy.
Dr. Randy initially joined IWA in 1987 as Dean of Students and subsequently Principal through 1994, when she departed to assume the role of Principal at John F. Kennedy Catholic High School. She returned to IWA in 2001, serving as IWA Principal through 2009 and as the first President from 2009 until she retired in 2012.
Dr. Randy returned to IWA in the part-time role of Interim President during the 2018-19 academic year. We are delighted to confirm that effective June 1, 2019, she began serving full-time in the President role, the term “Interim” has now been removed from her title, and she has committed to the role of President of Incarnate Word Academy for the next 2 years - through the 2020-21 academic year.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Randy Mikolas on her Presidency.
With this excellent news, the Board has decided to suspend the Presidential Search for the time being, with a date to resume yet to be determined.
