Incarnate Word Academy (St. Louis, Missouri,) a college-preparatory secondary school for young women, challenges young women of faith to achieve their God-given potential as academically successful Women of the Word, following the example of Jesus, the
Incarnate Word, by promoting human dignity, thereby empowering themselves and others to make a positive impact on the world. Incarnate Word Academy is seeking a President for the 2021-22 school year and beyond.
Job Functions include but not limited to • Provide visionary leadership, overall direction and administration of the schools operation, consistent with the school’s mission statement and the charism of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate
Word, the sponsoring entity of the Academy. • Drive and ensure robust fundraising activities to protect and support the financial viability of IWA. • Oversee Enrollment Management (recruitment and retention), encouraging faculty and staff to
engage students to fulfill the core values of IWA. • Represent the school in civil and ecclesiastical forums. • Promote and effectively articulate a vision and strategic plan for the future of Incarnate Word Academy in concert with the Sisters
of Charity of the Incarnate Word and the Board of Trustees.
Minimal Requirements • Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. • Proven ability to develop and maintain
relationships with key constituents to build major gifts, endowments, and planned giving. • An inspirational leader with demonstrated success in attracting, developing, coaching, and retaining exceptional team members. • Demonstrated ability
to both manage and improve an organization’s financial position, employee satisfaction, outreach, and recruitment. • Master’s degree or above is desired.
