Donette Middendorf Green, Ed.D., `74 is currently in her 6th year as the Assistant Superintendent for Special Services with the Pattonville School District. Donette earned her Bachelor’s degree in Special Education from Southwest Missouri State in 1979. In 2004, she received her Master’s in Educational Leadership from St. Louis University and her Doctorate in 2008, also from St. Louis University. Donette has been dedicated to education, even as a Red Knight fan at volleyball and basketball games at IWA. She was the President of GAA (Girls’ Athletic Association) her senior year and has taken on many other leadership roles. Donette received the Pride of Pattonville Award in 2000. In 2008, was named the Maryland Heights Volunteer of the Year. Volunteerism is close to her heart as she chaired the Pattonville tax levy and bond issue in 2000 and has been a volunteer and Trustee for the Pattonville Education Foundation since 2000. Donette is currently a member of the Bridgeton Kiwanis and Girlfriends for Good. She claims that her greatest accomplishment is being a mother to the two greatest children in the world, Brian-25 years old and Diana-23 years old, who followed in her mom’s footsteps and is in education! Donette indicated that her greatest accomplishment from IWA was making it through two years of Sr. Edwin’s Latin classes!
