Incarnate Word Academy is a college preparatory high school that strives to challenge young women of faith to achieve their God-given potential academically, physically, spiritually and emotionally, thereby empowering themselves and others to make a positive impact on our world.  The school is sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word. Incarnate Word Academy is seeking applicants for the following positions:


The Incarnate Word Academy athletics program is seeking a Varsity Volleyball head coach. Qualified applicants should have coaching experience and be able to successfully manage a competitive program in the context of a school with high academic expectations. Applicants for this position are required to have a bachelor’s degree or be a certified teacher by the 2019-2020 school year.

Assistant Principal (Beginning July 1, 2019)
A successful candidate will have:
A Master’s Degree in Administration or equivalent
An understanding of Catholicism and a commitment to the IWA mission 
An understanding and appreciation of the importance of cultural diversity in an educational setting  
Experience in instructional leadership and curriculum development
Experience in teacher supervision and evaluation 
The ability to inspire and mentor teachers to develop their students
A vision for 21st century learning that empowers students to think critically 
An understanding of STEM and its relevance in 21st century teaching
The ability to work in a collaborative environment
