The Knightline Dance Team is made up of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The team begins practices in late spring after tryouts to prepare for their first competition at NDA Camp over the summer. In the fall the team performs at home volleyball games, local football games and the Homecoming Pep Assembly. Over the winter months the team performs at home basketball games and prepares their competitive routines. Their first regional competition is in December followed by a few more competitions in January and the Missouri State Dance Team Competition in February.
In addition to performing and competing, the team hosts a variety of fundraisers and charity events. One of their favorites are the mini dance camps they host where the team works with children grades K-7 on dance routines, games, crafts, and contests. Throughout the dance team season, the team also enjoys monthly team bonding days that feature fun activities outside of dance such as laser tag, dinner, movies, and supporting our IWA sports teams while they are away. They also love being a part of IWA Athletic traditions including Senior Night and the end of the year banquet.
