In light of the recent restrictions on social gatherings and to help our community stay safe during the COVID-19 situation, our annual dinner auction, “A Roaring Good Knight,” will officially be transferred to an online event. The health and safety of our Incarnate Word Academy family is top priority for us, and we want to be sure we are doing everything to keep our community safe. Although we will no longer be having the physical event, we do still need your support. Please see below for the details on how to participate!

The funds raised at the auction help provide: spiritual development opportunities, curricular materials, tuition assistance, technological enhancements, athletic uniforms, funding for our second-to-none Fine Arts performances, and so much more! These funds are critical in our efforts to support our young Women of the Word.


What does an online event mean for people who have already purchased tickets?
    ● Guests who have purchased tickets, sponsorships, or an ad have two options.
        o Option 1: Any purchase can be transferred to a 100% tax deductible donation to benefit the auction. 
        o Option 2: Guests can be issued a refund for their purchase.
When can people bid on items?
    ● Our silent and live auction items will be available for bidding on Saturday, April 4th.
    ● At 9:00 pm all bidding will be closed and guests will receive notification if they have won any items.
Can a person just make a donation to the auction and not bid on items?
    ● Yes! Any person can make a donation to go towards our Fund the Need by going to https://IWA2020.givesmart.com and scroll down to the "Donate Now" box.

Who can bid on items?
    ● Any person with access to the internet can bid on our items, even if you weren’t originally able to attend the auction! 

How will I know when I can start bidding on items?
•  Visit https://IWA2020.givesmart.com and select “register now” in the "Sign Up to Participate" box.
    •  This will allow us to send you text and email notifications on when auction items are available for bidding and other updates on the auction.

Is there a fee to bid on items?
    ● There is no fee to look at and place bids on an item that has caught your eye!
    ● To place bids, you will need to register an account with https://IWA2020.givesmart.com. 

How can people see what is available to purchase?
    ● Those interested in bidding on items can visit: https://IWA2020.givesmart.com
    ● Once there, click “View Items” and you can browse through all of the items available for bidding. 
    ● Please note, our higher level “live” items are at the top of the list. You can scroll through or filter by categories to see all of our silent items available for the evening. The items available range in value and type, so there is something for everyone! 

If a person wins an item, how do they receive it?
    ● In the interest of public safety and health, a pick-up date will be determined after the ‘Stay At Home" mandates in St. Louis County are lifted.
