Ingrid L. Clark-Jackson, ’76

Ingrid L. Clark-Jackson began her professional educational career as a teacher at Ritenour Junior High School. She moved up the ranks of administration becoming an Assistant Principal at Ritenour and Head Principal at Hazelwood West. Currently, Ingrid is an Assistant Superintendent for the Hazelwood School District. Ingrid’s passion for education extends beyond her district. She has shared her knowledge with the current administration as she assisted with Incarnate Word’s strategic plan. She has participated in STARR (Select Teachers As Regional Resources,) and participated as co-facilitator for the 2005 Department of Elementary and Secondary Education Leadership Academy for principals. Ingrid serves on the board for the St. Charles Lwanga Center, which continues a strong legacy of spiritual formation and leadership development within the African American Catholic community of St. Louis. The center is also a resource for all who wish to collaborate in the spirit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and in the Catholic Church tradition. One of Ingrid’s greatest accomplishments upon graduating is watching the excitement of her daughter, Erin, ’09 receive her acceptance letter for admission into IWA in 2005. Ingrid is a dedicated educator, mentor and inspired administrator.
