Athletic Forms

A Message from the Athletic Director

Athletics have always held a special place in the life of Incarnate Word Academy. Our programs give students the opportunity to compete, build lasting relationships, develop confidence, and grow as leaders. Guided by IWA’s mission and tradition of excellence, we are committed to creating an athletic experience that supports the growth of the whole student and reflects the values of faith, teamwork, sportsmanship, and service.

It is a privilege to return to IWA and serve as Athletic Director. I previously spent 5 years at Incarnate Word Academy as an assistant basketball coach from May 2008 to August 2013. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the dedication of our student-athletes, coaches, families, faculty, and supporters. More recently, I served as the head basketball coach at Visitation Academy, and from August 1995 to May 2026, I taught full time at Parkway North High School. Each of these roles helped shape my approach to education, coaching, leadership, and student development.

As Athletic Director, I look forward to supporting our coaches and student-athletes while building upon the proud legacy of IWA Athletics. My goal is to foster programs where students are challenged to pursue excellence, encouraged to support one another, and given opportunities to grow both in competition and in life. I am excited to work alongside the entire IWA community and look forward to celebrating the accomplishments, growth, and Red Knight pride of our student-athletes.
