During her time at IWA, Jeanna was involved in several competitive speech meets which helped nurture the love and passion for expressing herself in the arts. She had leading roles in IWA’s musicals, Babes in Arms and The Music Man. It was during her days as an IWA student where she did her first professional shows of The Sound of Music and Pippin at the Westport Playhouse Theatre. Although a challenge to be a student by day and an actress by night, Jeanna’s love for the stage could not keep her away. After graduation, the stage kept calling her name. She was cast in several Broadway and National Tours including: Grease, playing Rizzo, Sandy and Cha Cha; 42nd Street playing Peggy Sawyer; Starlight Express playing Pearl, Dinah and Ashley. Jeanna was drawn to a different avenues of show business—television and film. Jeanna played Megan on Another World and then held roles in the movies, A Chorus Line and The Guru, starring Marisa Tomei and Heather Graham. In 1996, Jeanna had a featured spot on the John Michael Montgomery video, Ain’t Got Nothing on Us which was aired on the country western music station on television for about six months. To live your life’s passion is one of the greatest achievements in one’s life and that is exactly what Jeanna has done with hers.
