Audrey and John Steinfeld Scholarships

If 7th and 8th graders test (on standardized tests) in the 85th percentile or above (core-Math, Reading and Language) and maintain A’s and B’s in core subjects, students will receive a $2,000 scholarship each year for all four years at IWA as long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA. This is the second year for the scholarship year for the scholarship. Thirty-one students received the scholarship for the 2009-2010 school year. Thirty-three received the scholarship for the 2010-2011 school year.

Sr. Liz Healy Scholarships

This scholarship is given to the incoming students based upon the service they have completed from 6th grade to the 8th grade. They receive $1,000 for just one year. The scholarship monies are generated from what the faculty and staff donate to the annual fund. Three incoming students receive this annually.

President’s Academic Scholarships

The top four students who fall right below Steinfeld requirements receive $1,000 for four years if students maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Alumnae Academic Scholarships

Two scholarships, at $1,000, are given each year with the same requirements as the President’s Academic Scholarship. These scholarships have been given for over 20 years.

Leadership Scholarships

In the 2009-2010 school year, the senior class had monies to offer 2 leadership scholarships, each for just one year for $1,000. Incoming students wrote essays, and these were reviwed by the executives of the class. For the 2010-2011 school year, the class has raised funds in honor of a deceased classmate, Taylor Rozier and plans to give two more scholarships for leadership and service.
