Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is the primary advocate and guardian of the IWA Mission.  The Board sets policies regarding the academic program and finances.  They ensure that the physical plant is maintained and upgraded and hold the President and administration accountable for providing personnel and programming to ensure the stability and integrity of Incarnate Word Academy.  The Board, in turn, is responsible to the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word who founded IWA and continue to sponsor it today.



Karen Luebbert, Ph.D. '60 - Chair

Karen Luebbert is retired from Webster University where she served as Vice President and Executive Assistant to the President. Dr. Luebbert is Chair of  both the Executive Committee and Evaluation Committee. She also serves on the Finance, Advancement, Mission & Strategic Planning, Plant & Facilities, Nominating & By Laws, Evaluation and Academic Affairs Committees.


Ingrid Clark-Jackson, Ph.D. '76 - Vice Chair

Ingrid Clark-Jackson is the former Interim Superintendent for the Hazelwood School District. Dr. Clark-Jackson is Chair of the Nominating & By Laws Committee and Vice Chair of the Executive Committee. She also serves on the Academic Affairs Committee,Evaluation Committee and Presidential Search Committee.


Ken Mraz - Treasurer

Ken Mraz is the CEO of "The Growth Coach" - North America's leader in business and sales coaching and entrepreneurial education. Mr. Mraz is the Chair of the Finance Committee and is also a member of the Executive Committee and the Evaluation Committee.


V. Gina Tocco '85 - Secretary

Gina Tocco is a Senior Partner with Tocco, Connelly & Associates, PC. Ms. Tocco is a member of the Executive, Mission/Strategic Planning, Finance and Evaluation Committees.


Lisa Behlmann '77

Lisa Behlmann is retired from Korn/Ferry International where she served as Global Managing Director and a member of the Global Operating Committee. She is a 2-time IWA Hall of Fame inductee and serves on the Mission & Strategic Planning Committee and the Presidential Search Committee.


Sr. Helen Ann Collier, CCVI '55

Sr. Helen Ann Collier is the Spiritual Director for the CCVI Congregation. Sr. Collier is Chair of the Mission & Strategic Planning Committee.


Thomas Cornwell

Tom Cornwell is an Adjunct Professor at the George Herbert Walker School of Business and Technology at Webster University and a retired VP and GM of DRS Sustainment Systems, Inc. Mr. Cornwell is Chair of the Presidential Search Committee.


Sr. Kathleen Coughlin, CCVI '59

Sr. Kathleen Coughlin is the Vice President for Institutional Advancement at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX. Sr. Coughlin is Chair of the Facilities committee.


Peter Donovan

Peter Donovan is a Partner and Financial Planner at Summit Wealth Strategies, LLC. Mr. Donovan is a member of the Finance Committee.


Molly Grumich, Ed.D. '92

Dr. Molly Grumich is the Principal of Incarnate Word Academy. She is a member of the Academic Affairs Committee.


Erin Hendrickson '02

Erin Hendrickson is a District manager for Frito-Lay. Ms. Hendrickson is the Alumnae Board President and a member of the Nominating and By-Laws Committee.


Monica Huddleston

Monica Huddleston spent over 25 years in various management positions at SBC retiring in 2000 as Director of the Central Office Operations for Eastern Missouri. She serves on many boards of St. Louis organizations and was mayor of the City of Greendale from 2003 to 2015. Ms. Huddleston serves on the Mission and Strategic Planning Committee and the Advancement Committee.


Kateri O'Connell Martinez '67

Kateri Martinez graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in 1967. Ms. Martinez is the Chair of the Religion Department of Incarnate Word High School in San Antonio, TX. Ms. Martinez serves on the Academic Affairs Committee.


Bernadette O'Connor, Ph.D.

Bernadette O’Connor recently retired from the Philosophy department at University of the Incarnate Word. From 1969-71 she taught history and religion at Incarnate Word Academy. She is a member of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word U.S. Ministry Council. Dr. O'Connor serves on the Mission and Strategic Planning Committee.


Sr. Mary Pezold, CCVI '54

Sr. Mary Pezold is the interim President of Incarnate Word Academy, effective August 16, 2016. Most recently, Sr. Mary served 14 years as the Pastoral Associate at St. Joseph Parish in Cottleville, MO. She has also served on the CHRISTUS Health System Governance Committee and is the immediate past chair of the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word U.S. Ministry Council. Sr. Mary was the Principal of Incarnate Word academy from 1978 to 1986.


Felicia Pulliam '83, J.D.

Felicia Pulliam joined the FOCUS St. Louis team in January 2012 as development director and transitioned into her current role in March 2016 to direct FOCUS Impact Fellows, the most advanced leadership program in the FOCUS portfolio. Ms. Pulliam is Chair of the Academic Affairs Committee.


Joan Repking

Joan Repking is the owner of Pool King Recreation. Mrs. Repking is Chair of the Advancement Committee and also serves on the Presidential Search Committee.


Sr. Pilar Neira Sandoval, CCVI

Sr. Pilar has been appointed by the Congregation of Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word as a Mentee to the Board serving as an observer of the meetings.
